Job Overview
THIND CONTRACTING INC. is seeking a skilled Welder to join our team in Brampton, Ontario. This is a permanent, full-time position with competitive compensation and consistent hours.
With a wage of $36.10 per hour, this position offers competitive compensation compared to the Ontario welder average of approximately $32.69 per hour :cite[4].
Responsibilities & Tasks
Welding Operations
- Interpret welding process specifications
- Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment
- Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications
- Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment
- Fit, braze and torch-straighten metal
Equipment & Safety
- Determine weldability of materials
- Operate hoisting and lifting equipment
- Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products
- Start up, shut down, adjust and monitor robotic welding production line
- Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment
Requirements & Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
Schedule
- Morning, Day, Evening shifts
- 35 to 40 hours per week
- Permanent employment
- Full-time position

- Work Language: English
- Must work on-site in Brampton, ON
- No remote work available
